I am a Swiss freerider who skis in Verbier.I have been skiing in Verbier since I was 2 and skiing has been my passion ever since. I love going out in mountains with my friends and exploring new areas
What Moment do you ski for ?
I ski for the adrenaline and the satisfaction that this sport gives me. Skiing just fills me with joy. I also love the crew I’m skiing with, so it makes it even better.
How do you recharge your batterie for the next challenge?
I just chill at home, and I go have fun on the mountains.
How do you conquer difficult situations ?
I try to stay calm and keep a positive mindset. I often listen to music and try to control my breath in stressful situation.
What sacrifices have you had to make to get where you are today and were they worth it ?
I had to slow down my studies and in order to be able to take part in the FWT and I also trained a lot. But I don’t regret it because I love skiing and I lost nothing in this process.
What do you do when you aren’t skiing?
I am spending time with my family and my friends, I am also studying computer science. And when it is off season I like to travel and discover new places.
What strategy do you use to overcome pressure and stress for optimum performance ?
I make sure I am 100% confident with my knowledge of the zone I am skiing, and also I trust my trainings for the skiing. I try to ski for me and to have fun, because that’s when I ski the best.
