I am a skier, explorer and adventurer, and my mission is to explore nature in a sustainable way and inspire others to connect with nature while protecting the planet. Through my travels to remote places, I got in contact with local communities and could witness the effects of climate change both on those communities and on their environments, which inspired me to become an advocate for a positive change. Born in Florence, Italy, I have lived several years in Germany and have shared my experiences in the mountains through stories in several international magazines, where I aim to raise awareness and shape positive habits through education and alternative solutions, to make sure future generations will be able to enjoy this planet as we do.

The moment of pure freedom and happiness that comes from making a turn and feeling in complete connection with nature.
HOW DO YOU RECHARGE YOUR BATTERIES FOR THE NEXT CHALLENGE?
I take the time to slow down and be present, doing yoga and meditation, going for a run in the forest, listening to music and cooking.

HOW DO YOU CONQUER DIFFICULT SITUATIONS?
By being clear on my goals and staying nimble on the steps needed to reach them, adapting to changing situations without losing focus and determination.
WHAT SACRIFICES HAVE YOU HAD TO MAKE TO GET TO WHERE YOU ARE TODAY AND WERE THEY WORTH IT?
I need to be very organized to manage my projects, ski trips, trainings and my job, it’s a lot of work and time away from my family and sisters, but I truly enjoy it and appreciate to have an impact with what I do.
HOW DOES YOUR MINDSET (OR ATTITUDE) INFLUENCE YOUR PERFORMANCE?
My attitude is extremely important and decisive for a great performance.
WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU’RE NOT SKIING?
I enjoy the time at home with my boyfriend and my dog, planning our next trips and training outside, running, mountain biking, hiking in our home mountains. I also love being at the seaside and surfing. Furthermore, I work in marketing and communications.
WHAT STRATEGY DO YOU USE TO OVERCOME PRESSURE AND STRESS FOR OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE?
I spend a lot of time training in the mountains and skiing in different conditions, to feel confident also in challenging situations, I focus on positive thoughts and the lessons I learnt in nature.
