ABOUT ME

I’m from Lamoura, a small resort close to Geneva in Jura. When I was 14 years old I decided to live in the Alps to compete in Alpine skiing. Then I switched to Telemark and earned 12 podiums in the World Cup, and a 3rd place in the Overall standings.

I earned a Marketing and Accounting Bachelor degree in 2012 and I’m officially a ski instructor since 2015. Now I work for a telemark team with young skiers, and we ‘ve developed our Ride N Roses ski community with Romy Chapotte.

What MOMENT do you ski for?

From the opening of the winter ski season to the end, I am mostly giving ski lessons. The rest of the time, I ski for my pleasure. Ski touring and freeriding are the two things that I enjoy the most. It makes me happy and I feel alive.

How do you recharge your batteries for the next challenge?

I like to discover new destinations, travel around the world and meet people who make me happy.

What sacrifices have you had to make to get to where you are today and were they worth it?

I left my familly when I was 14 years old to attend a famous school and ski club to compete in alpine skiing with the best French skiers.

What do you do when you aren’t skiing?

Skiing is the most important thing in my life. I take a break from skiing during the summer but my job revolves around skiing. I always like to do something that will help me with my skiing and I’m never far from the mountains.

How does your mindset (or attitude) influence your performance?

The stress is the worst for me. My whole body is tense but it also depends on the situation. Good stress makes me feel strong to be able to ski a very steep and difficult trail. Conversely the bad stress make me grumpy ;)

What strategy do you use to overcome pressure and stress for optimum performance?

I like to do yoga more and more. Yoga helps me to be present and confident.
