ABOUT ME

I started skiing at 2 years old and have never stopped. I ski in La Clusaz most of the time with the Aravis range as my playground. I like to climb and spend time in the mountains. I believe in sustainability and try to reduce my carbon emissions. I’m also a creative director and I think this has influenced my way of skiing, always in search of beautiful lines!

What MOMENT do you ski for?

I like the feeling of when you go as fast as possible on a steep couloir - when the legs burn and you try not to fall! I also like to just ski every day, even in bad snow conditions! Skiing contributes to my happiness. I like to be alone in the mountains, just doing my thing and finding new routes. But skiing is also awesome when it’s shared.

How do you recharge your batteries for the next challenge?

I recharge by being at home, climbing, cooking some nice meals and reading maps and topos for my next adventure in the mountains.

What’s your favorite quote? Why does this quote resonate with you?

"L'alpiniste est un homme qui conduit son corps là où, un jour, ses yeux ont regardé... " Gaston Rébuffat. "The mountaineer is a man who leads his body to where, one day, his eyes looked ..." because I’ve always wanted to climb the mountains that I see from my home

What do you do when you aren’t skiing?

I take pictures with my old analog camera, climb with my friends and go surfing from my van in the summer. I also work as a designer.

What strategy do you use to overcome pressure and stress for optimum performance ?

When I’m in the mountains, I try to stay calm in order to keep my ideas as clear as possible and manage the risk. When I’m not sure of something, sometime before going I will give a call to my mountain guide friends to get some good advice!
