Many of us are shaped in such a way that the geometry of our hips, legs, or ankles are not in alignment which hinders how our weight is distributed across the sole of each foot. Those are the C.A.S.es where canting is needed. It is possible to modify the lateral inclination of your boots through the Canting Kit. The plastic wedges are placed between the removeable/replaceable toe and heel pieces and the skiboot lugs. This kit allows an adjustment of 1° (either way) of lateral inclination. The upper surfaces of the toe and heel need to be trimmed down with a router to restore the proper ISO 5355 standard height dimensions so the boot sole properly interfaces with the binding. The canting kit is compatible with all Tecnica Skiboots except for: all Firebird models, all Zero G models, and all Cochise models without DYN inserts.
Skiboot lateral inclination: 1° (inwards or outwards).
2 heel inserts + 2 toe inserts, to be sandwiched between the sole parts and the skiboot lugs.
16 screws included in the package (8 per skiboot).
