Made for fast hiking and exploring all types of technical mountain terrain, and built according to women’s specific foot physiology, the AGATE S MID GTX combines weatherproof comfort, stability and flexibility in a fresh, lightweight, mid-cut protective design. The Agate Mid is the result of our Women2Women focus group. We use a gender-specific design process to offer a dedicated solution for female athletes and mountain enthusiasts – a women’s specific fit based on a women-specific last for out-of-the-box comfort. This lightweight, versatile mid-cut shoe is easy to wear and provides steady grip on technical rocky trails, yet also adapts well to more urban scenarios. The lightweight, durable midsole with IMPULSO technology EVA and Pebax® elastomer insert delivers enhanced shock absorption and rebound, especially in the downhill – as validated by the CeRiSM Institute. Targeted flex points in the sole enhance flexibility and help take advantage of the foot’s natural rolling motion. A plantar arch support and the dedicated support band in the upper contribute to a wrapping fit and greater stability. Its soft Lycra collar wraps the ankle, yet guarantees flexibility and mobility.
