The Race-Type family is offered in two different sidecuts, designed to suit distinct skiing styles while sharing the same uncompromising racing DNA.
Race-Type MT (Medium Turn), with a 15 m radius, is ideal for skiers who favor short to medium turns. Quick edge engagement, fast edge-to edge transitions and precise control define a dynamic, intense and confidence-inspiring ride.
Race-Type LT (Long Turn), with a 19 m radius, is built for skiers who love long, fast arcs. It delivers outstanding stability, smoothness and confidence at high speeds, evoking giant slalom-like performance and a solid, continuous carve.

Behind the solid, precise on-snow feel of Race-Type lies a set of carefully engineered structural elements designed to support the skier in the most demanding conditions. Solutions developed by Blizzard’s Racing Department to deliver confidence, control and consistent performance on piste.
Race-Type Construction
Developed directly by our Racing Department, this ski features a Trueblend Race Woodcore combined with full-length Titanal layers from tip to tail for uncompromised power and edge precision. A phenol sidewall ensures razor-sharp grip and maximum torsional stiffness, while a dual-Titanal tip construction, separated by a thin rubber damping layer, delivers a dynamic and progressive flex that adapts smoothly through every turn. The result: race-inspired control and confidence, wherever you push the limits.
World Cup Running Base
Featuring a World Cup Running Base with a precision fishbone structure, this base technology ensures exceptional glide and superior wax absorption in all snow conditions. Engineered for racers and expert skiers alike, the refined micro-pattern minimizes friction and maximizes acceleration, delivering that unmistakable World Cup-level smoothness from start gate to finish line.
Trueblend Race Woodcore
The Trueblend Race Woodcore is designed with a harder flex zone in the center, that provides stability and edge grip, a medium flex zone in front of and behind the binding that provides control, and a soft flex zone in the tip and tail that provides easy turn initiation and release. Trueblend technology allows us to precisely control the flex throughout the whole length of the ski and in every size.
