GROUND PRECISION

The AST - Adaptive Shape Technology adapts the Sulfur to the precise shape of each foot. Designed around an approach-dedicated anatomical last, the Sulfur is equipped with a Vibram® Megagrip™ outsole with a climbing zone and Arch grip, a high-density EVA shank and extended lacing to the toe area for enhanced precision on the most technical terrain, including rocks and debris.

The Sulfur LT is a technical approach shoe, designed to cope with challenges approaches and via ferrata. Premium technical features like the sophisticated Vibram® Megagrip outsole, durable rubber rand protection and a pratical backloop blend with downtoned colours and a contemporary design, making the Sulfur LT a perfect companion also for everyday adventures in the urban environment.

HIKING COMFORT

The midsole is made with two different densities. The softer EVA compound at the heel provides cushioning and ground adaptability, to guarantee optimal comfort when walking. The midsole and outsole are designed with a front-rockered profile to promote a smoother heel-to-toe transition, to walk longer with a higher level of comfort.

Additional Technologies & Features

CLIMBING ZONE: At the toe, the outsole features a flat climbing zone. This dedicated climbing-specific feature gives advanced precision, toe and edging power on slabs, ledges and edges, making it the perfect choice for steeper rock faces.
ARCH GRIP: At the center of the outsole, under the arch of the foot is the rubber arch grip. It provides the shoe with additional technical performance. The specific shape of its ‘teeth’ ensures better grip on slippery ridges and raised edges, as well as via ferrata rungs and ladders.
VIBRAM® MEGAGRIP™ OUTSOLE: The Vibram® Megagrip outsole is made of a high-performance compound that offers unparalleled grip on dry and wet terrain. This compound is also best in its class for durability and ground adaptation.
BACKLOOP: The little loop helps the wearer to slide the foot in and out of the shoes effortlessly and can be used to hang them on your backpack or to the climbing harness.
ORTHOLITE® FOOTBED: The anatomically-shaped Ortholite® footbed is highly breathable and provides superior comfort and long-lasting performance.
EXTENDED TOE LACING: An extended toe lacing system delivers adjustable, precise and performance-oriented fit. The climbing-inspired lacing wraps the forefoot and toe box, enabling fast and accurate adjustment while enhancing precision and edging control on steep rock.
