The Mach1 JR with T-Drive provides high-level performance on a platform that's specifically designed for junior skiers. Staying true to Tecnica's fit-and-performance-first mindset, the Mach1 Team features many of the same innovative technologies found in the adult Mach1 series. The Mach1 Team is the ultimate all-mountain boot for the junior skier who is ready to take their skiing to the next level.
Skiers that have moved beyond the basics and feel more comfortable on the slopes making strong parallel turns with solid edge control. These skiers are exploring more of the mountain and ski the majority of the runs at most resorts, but still improving their skills to take on the hardest runs with confidence. The majority of intermediate skiers can adjust and manage their speed while adjusting to a variety of terrain and snow conditions.
Very experienced skiers that can easily tackle all types of terrain. Even at high speed, these skiers are balanced, controlled and confident. They ski efficiently with strong technique not matter what turn shape or at any speed. Expert skiers enjoy the challenge of variable conditions and terrain — from groomers to deep snow and tight trees to wide open faces - while adjusting quickly to unexpected obstacles along the way.
Soft
Stiff
Given the needs and level of every skiers, we project models with different flex, thanks to the combination of different plastics. Tecnica ski boots are divided into: HARD (flex man 140-120/woman 115-95), MEDIUM (flex man 110-90/woman 85-75) e SOFT (flex man 80-60/woman 65-55). HARD: for expert and more robust skiers MEDIUM: for intermediate and/or medium-sized SOFT: for beginners or lighter skiers
Narrow
Wide
The width of foot's sole changes from person to person, that's why our ski boots have different volumes to meet the needs of every skier. Tecnica ski boots are divided into: LV (low – from 93 to 98mm), MV (mid – from 99 to 100mm) and HV (high – 103mm). LV: for skiers with narrow foot's sole or for those who prefer a more enveloping and precise fit MV: for skiers with medium foot's sole or for those who prefer a regular fit HV: for skiers with a wide foot's sole or for those who prefer a comfortable fit
Technologies
C.A.S. SHELL
C.A.S. SHELL
The C.A.S. Shell has an anatomical shape that matches the shape of the foot. This allows for a better out-of-the box initial fit. The dimples on the shell offer less surface tension and facilitate heating, making customizing the shell easier. The shell retains the new shape better and longer.
SHELL FEATURES Anatomic and precise shape Easier and faster thermo-forming Easy customization
SHELL CUSTOMIZATION PUNCHING (INCREASE VOLUME) Only using Tecnica C.A.S. Pro tool system
T-DRIVE
T-DRIVE
DRIVE PRECISION The T-Drive dynamic carbon connector creates a longer lever arm compared to traditional ski boots. This allows:
Quicker edge to edge transitions. Increased lateral power and stability. Edge drive precision. PERFORMANCE EFFICIENCY The T-Drive Technology creates a stronger and more effective connection between the cuff and the shell, that supports the boot flex and avoids plastic deformation. This means reduced energy dissipation and a more efficient power transmission.
ENHANCED COMFORT Comfort comes from many places in the new Mach1 MV. The T-Drive technology provides a progressive flex regardless of temperatures, keeping the shape unchanged and a more consistent fit. The T-Drive support also allows the use of softer plastics, without compromising performances but making the boots easier to get on and off.
JR LINER
JR LINER
The JR Liner is designed to provide young skiers with comfort, warmth, and an easy fit. Its supportive construction helps young skiers learn and develop their technique, accompanying them throughout their progression on the snow.
QUICK INSTEP: Utilizes softer plastic over the instep area that allows the shell to open easier as you are entering or exiting the boot.
ECO DESIGN: The ability to obtain regenerated material with homogeneous and known mechanical characteristics will allow a wider use of them in the production on new ski-boots.
MATERIAL TRACEABILITY PROGRAM: QR will provide a precise description of all the materials used in the production of the specidic ski-boot, allowing a more precise and consistent regeneration of those materials.
This will result in better quality and more possibility to reuse in new ski-boots production.
