PERFECT BALANCED FLEX
We have designed a specific Trueblend Free Woodcore for our freeride / back country category skis. It combines beech and poplar – two wood types that guarantee performance – with paulownia for a lightweight, yet high-performance wood core.
The result: the right flex to cover for all backcountry requirements in a lighter package.
PERFORMANCE WITHOUT COMPROMISES
The Trueblend Free Woodcore specifically positions three different densities of wood together to form a woodcore that is specifically designed to optimize the flex of the ski and deliver a smooth and balanced feeling.
This blending of the different densities of wood creates three distinct flex zones; a softer flex zone in the tip and tail areas, that facilitates easy turn initiation and release, a medium flex zone in front of and behind the binding, that helps deliver confidence and control and finally a stiffer flex zone in the center, underneath the binding, that guarantees perfect edge grip and stability.
Trueblend woodcores are designed to provide just the right amount what you need, performance, control, and confidence, to do what you want, when you want anywhere on the mountain.

D.R.T. stands for dinamic release technology.
It has proven itself to be the perfect dynamic energy release technology for the freeride/ back country category.
The strength and lightness of carbon fiber ensure:
• lightweight damping
• stability and control
D.R.T. blends carbon fiber with fiberglass to give you better support, more confidence and greater performance without compromising on the fun.
PERFORMANCE EFFICIENCY
Active Carbon Armor is a vibration damping and rebound control system that is located under the binding. Inspired by the carbon armor from the Firebird collection, the carbon fiber plate is brought outside of the ski body which allows it to flex freely. In this way the ski turns out to be less demanding while still providing a very high level of performance.
INNOVATIVE AND VISIBLE TECHNOLOGY
Active Carbon Armor provides both vibration damping and enhanced rebound and acceleration without effecting the progressive flex of the ski.
The unidirectional carbon fiber chassis offers perfect torsional strength and forgiving flex for downhill performance. The result: a ski that is not too stiff or strong, but reliable in all touring conditions.
The Carbon Spine Core consists of two bi-directional carbon fiber layers that run tip to tail and are positioned vertically between the middle laminents of the woodcore.
When does the C-Spine acts
The C-Spine acts during the middle to end phase of the turn, when rebound and agility are needed the most.
In this phases the wood-carbon compound releases its energy ensuring a great rebound and easier transition from one turn to the next one.
BENEFITS
The Carbon Armor is an edge to edge layer of bi-directional Carbon fiber positioned in the middle section of the ski, directly under the plate. This layer of carbon fiber adds additional support to the middle section of the ski.
When does the C-Armor acts
The C-Armor acts during the beginning to middle of the turn:
Here the needs are control feeling and stability.
The Carbon Armor avoids micro vibrations under the binding increasing edge grip and ensuring a feeling of stability and control.

The specific usage of carbon fiber guarantees an extremely high level of performance that, thanks to the natural property of this material, stays strong but yet light at the same time. Lightness is even more enhanced thanks to the pawlonia wood used in the Trueblend Core.
With Hustle you have that playful companion which you want to have on your side when exploring the mountains.

DURABLE PROTECTION
New titanal construction that is designed to provide both maximum durability and increased performance with a unique, high value look. The top titanal layer is extended to the very edge of the ski and placed directly under the top foil which is then milled back 3 mm, thus exposing it. The titanal directly absorbs all impacts that occur along the top edge, reducing scratches and eliminating chipping.
Great attention to details is what makes Thunderbird something special.

The Carbon Drive 3.0 is empowered by two underfoot carbon reinforcements.
The carbon reinforcements are two edge-to-edge layers of bi-direction carbon fiber placed in the binding mounting areas, in order to provide:
The Carbon Drive 3.0 is the technology upgrade of the Carbon Drive 2.0 technology: a full length 3D shaped unidirectional carbon fiber chassis running through the entire length of the ski, combined with an ultra-light pawlonia woodcore (Zero G 85, 95) or ISO/BEECH/POPPLAR core (Zero G 105): this combination guarantees a super lite construction keeping the necessary structure for performance.
Ensures optimal torsional rigidity and flex, placing the carbon in those area where it is really needed.

Review of the carbon chassis shape to provide less rigidity in tip and tails
Carbon Drive 3.0 Benefits:
The D.R.T. is a specially shaped layer of Titanal placed in the binding area, aimed to reduce the torsional rigidity in tip and tail, adding further stability and control feeling under the foot.
The shape, size and length of each titanal reinforcement are defined for each model and size, in order to ensure a perfect combination of a lightweight structure with improved performance.
